Mark Smith
Mark has a successful track record in both operations and project management, principally in the telecommunications and broadcasting industries, over the past twenty five years. A graduate of London University and a Chartered Engineer, Mark holds a PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate, Diploma in Project Management and a Masters in Business Administration.
Mark started his career as a broadcast engineer at Marconi, installing digital TV equipment in the UK and Middle East, then at ITV's national early morning franchise TV-am and later for Dynamic Technology and Drake Electronics, where he designed and project managed broadcast facilities for clients including the BBC, regional ITV companies, the European Parliament, European Broadcasting Union and the investment bank, Morgan Stanley International.
In the mid 1990's, Mark joined the mobile communications consultancy, MSI in London , where he managed their software development programme, project office and worldwide technology partners. Latterly, as Operations Director, he led a multi-disciplinary team, delivering their portfolio of software products to the major operators in the wireless telecoms market.
Mark set up his own consultancy business in 2002, providing project management consultancy and interim support to clients including blue chip international companies, start-ups and public sector organisations.
Rosemary Raeburn-Smith
Rosemary is a health service professional with significant director level experience in managing clinical teams in large and medium sized acute trusts in both the NHS and independent sectors.
Her substantive experience is in devising, introducing and managing change in the areas of nursing, women's, children's and emergency services. Rosemary has led on the development and implementation of a process driven model of care and taken the lead in establishing and maintaining high quality standards.
Her early career developed from nursing on the wards at Chelmsford , Oldchurch and Harold Wood hospitals to Senior Ward Sister at Basildon Hospital before joining Nuffield hospitals as Matron of their Enfield hospital, a post she held for six years.
Rosemary returned to the NHS as Manager for General Surgery at Havering Hospitals NHS Trust for two years, and was then appointed as Clinical Director, General Surgery, then Deputy Director of Nursing (Projects) before being appointed to the Executive Board as Director of Nursing, at the newly merged Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust. Her experience here included close involvement with the £180 million PFI new hospital project in Romford.
Her proven track record in both Strategic and Operational Health Service Management provided the basis for a move to independent consultancy working with NHS Trusts in the Eastern region on the Modernisation Agenda, Clinical Governance and the implementation of the NHS and Local Delivery Plans.

Brian Connellan of Eastyoke
Brian is a science graduate with 30 years' industrial experience. His early career included management positions with consumer electronics and automotive businesses, including three very exciting years in Formula 1 race car engineering.
Brian founded Eastyoke in 1998, to market his programme management skills and in 1999, he won an order to commercialise a wireless application from the Xerox European Research Centre. Since then, Eastyoke's client list has grown steadily and further consultants have been brought in to support the portfolio of project and interim management assignments with Ford, Bombardier, Pace Micro Technology and several businesses in and around the Cambridge Science Park.
Simon Webb of SAM Partnership
Simon has fifteen years sales and marketing business to business experience in the precious metals, glass, chemicals, telecoms and computer sectors. Having worked for two years in Philadelphia with Johnson Matthey, and then in London and Glasgow for Tyco Electronics, he has helped get numerous businesses off the blocks, including one under the BT umbrella, using his hard-earned skills in marketing segmentation, marketing communications planning and VC funding development.
Also at the SAM Partnership is Kate Wright, who brings to the marketing mix her publishing experience with advertising and design agencies and as a marketing manager for Philips.
